Hawk Identification - LHAS General Meeting featuring Bill Huser and Jerry Probst

  • Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center 4500 Sioux River Road Sioux City, IA, 51109 United States (map)

LHAS birders extraordinaire, Bill Huser and Jerry Probst, will present a hawk identification program. The Red-tailed Hawk is our most common and confusing hawk. Details of identifying this hawk, separating it from similar hawks and recognizing its many forms will be discussed.

Bill and Jerry have been birding together since the early 1970's, have seen over 300 species in the Siouxland region and even agree on their identification most of the time.

This will be a Zoom presentation due to continuing COVID restrictions. To attend the virtual meeting, please contact Dawn Snyder.
