Audubon Society Hosts Virtual Program February 3
The Loess Hills Audubon Society will meet via Zoom on Thursday, February 3 for a program by Dr. Rex Rundquist. Please note there will not be an in-person meeting for February. It will be held via Zoom only. Email dsnyder@woodburyparks.org for the link to the Zoom program.
Dr. Rundquist will share about using the eBird smart phone application for bird listing and identification. eBird is a relatively new and powerful tool for birdwatchers, allowing a simple means to keep one’s own personal records in addition the ability to contribute to a worldwide database of our feathered friends. The learning curve is simple and painless. Join us for some pointers on how to use this platform that contributes to citizen science.
The board meeting begins at 6:00 PM and Dr. Rundquist’s program begins at 7:00 PM.
To register for the Zoom meeting or more information contact Dawn Snyder at 712-258-0838 or dsnyder@woodburyparks.org.
