Thirty Years of Birding with Loess Hills Audubon. What Birding and Loess Hills Audubon has meant to me.
I joined LHAS around 1990 and thanks to birds and LHAS members, have enjoyed 30 plus years of learning, exploring, fellowship, growing, and contributing to projects that I could never have dreamed of.
Tonight’s topics will include memories of a non-birder and what non-birders probably don’t know, learning bird names, first memories with LHAS, learning and serving, food-fellowship-humor, what’s in all those records compiled over the years, what I would have missed, a few spiritual encounters with birds, and a bird poem to close with.
