This South Dakota park features pine plantations, red cedar groves, upland oak bluffs, a Brule Creek riparian woodland and open grasslands that will each attract southbound songbirds. The Park also offers two sites to scan the big sky for migrating hawks, surfaced roads for easy walking and miles of trails winding through the varied habitats.

Meet our group at the public boat launch parking lot in Chris Larsen Park on the Sioux City riverfront at 7:00am for the 37 mile drive north on I-29 and Union County Road 1C. Bring a picnic lunch and beverages to enjoy at the park.
